Amanda qualified from Bristol University in 1999 and then worked in a mixed large animal practice in Somerset for a year before moving to the Liphook Equine Hospital to do an 18-month internship. She was offered and accepted an ambulatory permanent position there. As well as working in some equine clinics in Dorset, she also worked at Donnington Grove Veterinary Hospital for 3 years before moving down to Dorset permanently. Gibbs Marsh Equine was founded in August 2013 where it has continued to grow rapidly over the last 3 years.

Amanda particularly enjoys the sports medicine aspect of equine veterinary work, but has an interest in all areas of equine medicine.
When not working her previous hobbies have included eventing to a high level where she represented GB on the junior event team in Germany. She continues to enjoy horses with her children in the pony club, outdoor activities and occasionally can be spotted in the hunting field when time allows.

Vicky qualified from the university of Liverpool in 2003 alongside her twin brother, Jamie. Her first job took her to the far end of the country, where she worked in mixed practice in Northumberland. Although she was offered a permanent position here, she decided to follow her main interest and so took a position at Hall Place Vets in Marlow, where there was more equine work to be seen. During her time here she succeeded in accomplishing an offer of a place for an internship at Rossdales in Newmarket.

Vicky started the job and quickly established a keen interest in diagnostics and performance horses, where her specialisation still lies. After completing her internship she remained with the practice to gain more experience on the racing side and to further help at the diagnostic centre with imaging and lameness evaluation.

She then moved onto an equine position in Buckinghamshire, where she remained happily for eight years, working with her other sister, Joanna (also an equine vet).

When it became apparent that her sister, Amanda, was growing a busy practice in Dorset in desperate need of help, Vicky jumped at the chance of joining her part-time, and relocated her young family to Iwerne Minster in 2014.

Sadly her previous passion for riding and competing has had to be put to one side whilst she helps her children Woody 4, and Rosie 3, grow up, and the practice to continue to succeed

Georgie grew up in Dorset and graduated from Nottingham vet school in 2014. She then undertook an internship at Oakham Veterinary Hospital in Rutland.

Georgie returned to Dorset and started at Gibbs Marsh equine in April 2016 and enjoys all aspects of equine practice. In her spare time Georgie enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking and riding her own horse when she can.
